The Charge Nurse will orient and supervise staff, ensure proper care documentation, and handle emergency situations while coordinating with physicians and families. Ideal candidates are compassionate nurses with current Iowa licensure and experience in a geriatric setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing for RN/LPN.
• Current nursing license in good standing in Iowa.
• One year of experience in a geriatric setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and carry out nursing care of residents.
• Orient, instruct, and supervise CNA, CMA, and care specialists.
• Maintain proper documentation of facility records.
