The Charge Nurse will lead daily operations, coordinate staff, and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and administration to achieve excellent patient outcomes, while maintaining a positive work environment.

Qualificações

• ADN is required to practice as RN.
• BSN is preferred for this role.
• Minimum RN experience: 12 months; 24 months preferred.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Mandatory Reporter training must be completed within 3 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily unit operations including staffing and resource allocation based on patient needs.
• Serve as on-shift clinical leader and liaison between nurses, physicians, and admin teams.
• Support onboarding, education, and development of staff and students.
• Provide direct patient care with assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety protocols, and Joint Commission standards.
• Promote evidence‑based practice and quality improvement with proper documentation.
• Conduct charts, safety checks, incident follow‑ups, and nursing‑quality indicators.
• Lead daily huddles, interdisciplinary rounds, and patient‑family communication.
• Coordinate scheduling and HR-related input with leadership.
• Act as a resource and role model for clinical practice and EMR use.
• Facilitate patient flow during admission, discharge, and transfer processes.
• Exercise independent judgment guided by Nurse Practice Act and policies.
