Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in theology, religion or spirituality.
• 1–3 years of Spiritual Care experience; CPE training preferred.
• Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) preferred; endorsement by a CHEA-accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual care to patients, families, and staff across the care continuum.
• Assess religious and spiritual needs and refer to ethics or other interventions as needed.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR with plans of care.
• Collaborate with inter-professional teams and engage faith leaders as appropriate.
• Plan and evaluate programs to improve Spiritual Care effectiveness aligned with Mission Integration.
