Advocate Health Care is seeking a part-time chaplain to provide holistic spiritual care to patients and families across site teams. The role includes evening to night shifts, on-call rotation, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to support care plans.

The successful candidate will hold a graduate-level theology degree, be eligible for chaplain certification, and complete required CPE credits within 18 months of hire.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate degree in religious studies, theology, divinity or related field.
• Eligible for board certification as a chaplain: APC/BCCI, NACC, NAJC; completion within 18 months of hire.
• 4 units of CPE, at least three ACPE-accredited.

Aufgaben

• Delivers holistic spiritual care for patients, families, team members and physicians.
• Provides spiritual care, consultation and short-term counseling per policies.
• Responds to codes, emergencies, and crises; participates in rounds and care planning.
• Represents the values of Advocate Health in clinical responsibilities and team engagement.
