Job summary

UMC Health System is seeking a Lead Central Supply Technician to manage evening shift staffing and maintain inventory across hospital stocking locations. The role includes forecasting ordering needs from refill reports and mentoring team members.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least two years in supply chain or inventory control, with strong math skills. This on-site role involves lifting and physical inventory duties within hospital central supply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• +2 years experience in supply chain, inventory control, or related duties.
• Ability to train and mentor others in the performance of duties.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and inventory management skills.

Responsibilities

• Staffing and training the evening shift.
• Review and monitor refill reports to determine ordering needs and keep stocking locations at par levels; document items not available for replenishment.
• Maintain appropriate supplies in all stocking locations throughout the hospital.
• Respond to requests for distributing needed supplies or equipment to hospital personnel.
• Assist in physical inventory of the Central Supply location.
• All other related duties assigned.
