Job summary

UMC Health System is seeking a Central Supply Technician for the evening shift (3:00pm – 1:00am) at the Main Campus. You will stock inventory, manage replenishment, and support all hospital departments with reliable supplies.

Responsibilities include forecasting required quantities, reviewing refill reports, maintaining par levels, charging items to cost centers, and performing monthly inventory counts. Must handle heavy lifting and be able to lift up to 100 pounds and stand on concrete for long

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong math and counting abilities to manage quantities and par levels.
• Clear and concise communication, both verbal and written, with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Forecast supply quantities for each refill location.
• Review refill reports and replenish to pre-determined par levels.
• Notify management when supplies are not available for distribution.
• Charge supply items to the appropriate department cost center.
• Deliver materials on demand and to requested locations.
• Manage stocking locations, inventory, and monthly cycle counts.
• Perform other duties related to Central Supply.

Should be able to lift up to 100 pounds and climb heights up to 8 feet. The position requires extended walking and standing on concrete surface.
