Job summary

UMC Health System is seeking a Lead Central Supply Technician to manage evening shift inventory and staffing. You will ensure stocking locations stay at par levels and mentor junior staff.

The role requires strong inventory skills, math aptitude, and the ability to work evenings and weekends in a hospital setting, with lifting up to 100 lbs and mobility obligations. This is a hands-on role with collaboration across departments to ensure timely access to supplies for patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• +2 years experience in supply chain, inventory control, or related duties.

Responsibilities

• Staffing and training evening shift.
• Review refill reports to determine ordering needs and document unavailable items.
• Maintains appropriate supplies in all stocking locations throughout the hospital.
• Respond to requests for distributing needed supplies or equipment.
• Assist in physical inventory of the Central Supply location.
• All other related duties assigned.
