Job summary

Lexington Medical Center is seeking a Central Supply Technician for the night shift (11:00pm - 07:30am) to support fast-paced clinical operations. You will manage supply requests, clean and prep reusable items, and ensure proper stocking and invoicing within the hospital’s supply chain.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of hospital supply chain experience, with willingness to learn inventory systems and charge master procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum Years of Experience: 6 Months Working in a Hospital's Supply Chain or Materials Management Department.
• Substitutable Education & Experience (Optional): In lieu of 6 Months Working in a Hospital's Supply Chain or Materials Management Department, will consider either of the following:

Responsibilities

• Documenting supply requisition records from clinical areas.
• Documenting and labeling products that are deemed as chargeable by the Lexington Medical Center’s charge master; decreasing lost charges.
• Preparation and cleaning of reusable supplies/products.
• Performing functional and safety inspections for emergency carts.
• Utilize computerized system to expense departments and charge patients for supplies.
• Maintains supply levels and performs proper stock rotation using first-in, first-out principle.
