Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CBSPD certification options include CRCST, CER, or CFER; provisional acceptable.
• Knowledge of sterile processing concepts and infection control guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, disinfect and test surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assemble, inspect and package sterile instrument sets and peel packs.
• Deliver sterile supplies to surgical suites in a timely manner.
• Maintain inventory of disposable goods and stock storage areas.
• Enter and retrieve data in the instrument tracking system.
• Support quality assurance processes and adherence to protocol.
• Respond to internal/external customer requests and follow safety guidelines.
