NYU Langone Health is hiring a Central Sterile Technician for the KP SPD-Evening Shift (37.5 hours). The role involves decontaminating and assembling instrument sets, delivering them to surgical suites, and maintaining inventory and tracking in the instrument system.

The successful candidate will hold a High School Diploma or equivalent, and CBSPD certification (CRCST/CER/CFER) with provisional certification acceptable. Strong attention to quality and infection control is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CBSPD certification or equivalent central sterile certification required (CRCST/CER/CFER); provisional acceptable.

Responsabilités

• Decontaminates, disinfects, tests, adjusts and assembles sterile instruments and equipment.
• Delivers instrument sets and supplies to surgical suites.
• Maintains instrument tracking and inventory; supports quality assurance and infection control.
• Interacts with internal and external customers and supports continuous quality improvement.
