Job summary

Delaware North Gaming is seeking a Security Officer for Gate City Casino in Nashua, New Hampshire. This full-time position focuses on maintaining a safe environment for guests and team members, including checking IDs, escorting cash, and handling incidents on the gaming floor.

The role requires 21+ with a HS diploma, appropriate state licensing, and the ability to pass a background check; CPR/First Aid/AED/BBP certification is also required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be licensed by the State Gaming Commission.
• Prior law enforcement, security, or military experience preferred; hospitality or customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to clear a criminal background check.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong verbal communication, observation, and report writing skills.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED/BBP certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that identification is checked for proper admittance to the gaming floor.
• Conduct cash escorts as required.
• Observe, handle, and report procedural violations and illegal activity.
• Maintain crowd control as required.
• Defuse guest profanity and handle issues or complaints professionally.
