Job summary

Unity House of Troy, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Victim Advocate to support survivors of domestic and sexual violence in our residential shelter. The role emphasizes trauma-informed, victim-centered case management during second shift hours in Troy, NY.

Qualifications

Evening Case Manager

Salary Range: $18.88 To $19.93 Hourly

Unity House of Troy, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Victim Advocate to support survivors of domestic and sexual violence in our residential shelter. Ideal candidates are empathetic, dependable, and comfortable working second shift.

$1250 sign on bonus may apply

Shifts Available:

• 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
• 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM
  (Overtime opportunities available)

Responsibilities:

• Provide trauma-informed, victim-centered support and case management
• Assist clients with housing searches, safety planning, and life skills development
• Answer hotlines and provide crisis intervention and referrals
• Promote a culture of inclusion and respect

Qualifications:

• 13 paid days off in the first year (increases annually) + 56 hours NYS Sick Leave
