Job summary

Lake Ridge Assisted Living is hiring Caregivers in Buffalo, MN. This part-time role offers evening shifts from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm and provides training for those new to caregiving.

No experience is required, and you will support residents with daily living activities in a welcoming senior care community. Primary responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, taking vital signs, documenting care, and administering medications under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience preferred, but not required. We will train you for this position!
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Computer skills, ability to read, write and communicate clearly, self-motivated.
• Previous experience in a similar setting is a plus.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Help each resident with ADLs while maintaining dignity and independence.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the RN per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration; report changes to the RN.
• Document services performed on the computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report changes in physical and emotional condition to the supervisor.
• Assist with personal care including shampooing, bathing, nails, and medication administration.
• Prepare and administer medications per Lake Ridge Assisted Living policies.
