Job summary

Avamere is seeking a dedicated Caregiver for full-time evening shifts at Avamere at South Hill, Spokane, WA. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, emotional support, housekeeping, and ensuring resident safety.

Staff provide compassionate care, monitor health changes, support mobility, and maintain a clean, safe environment while respecting confidentiality and resident dignity.

Qualifications

• Prefer experience as a Caregiver in Memory Care Unit or Assisted Living Facility.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid Certification during employment.
• Must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Card.
• Experience in electronic medical records documentation.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Friendly, attentive, and professional demeanor with residents and guests.
• Genuine desire to improve quality of life for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Personal Hygiene: Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Mobility Assistance: Supporting walking, transferring, and using mobility aids.
• Meal Preparation: Setting up meals, cutting up food, and removing trays.
