Job summary

REM Community Services, a member of the Sevita family, seeks a dedicated caregiver in Ohio to support individuals with developmental disabilities. This full-time role offers $17.00 per hour and requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

You will assist participants with daily living activities, personal care, and community participation, while fostering meaningful relationships and supporting developmental goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Encourage community participation and participation in favorite activities.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
• Follow Sevita policies to ensure safety and quality of care.
