Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Care Provider at Ivy Park at Salinas to support residents with daily living activities and personal care. The role emphasizes maintaining independence, safety, and compassionate interactions on a shift from 2pm-10pm Wednesday through Saturday.

The position supports residents with meals, mobility, dressing, hygiene, and emotional well-being while adhering to care plans and safety protocols. Training is provided, and employee benefits apply to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• Oakmont Management Group may require vaccination and daily screening to prevent spread of disease

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) per the care plan.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Communicate observed changes of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with staff and other departments
