Job summary

Oakmont Management Group’s Ivy Park at Salinas is hiring a Care Provider to assist residents with daily living activities and provide compassionate, respectful care. You will support residents’ independence on a beautifully maintained campus in Salinas, CA, with a focus on safety, dignity, and quality of life.

Shifts are 6am-2pm Tue-Sat or 2pm-10pm Sun-Thu; pay range is $17.50-$19.50 per hour. We offer medical/dental/vision, vacation, paid holidays, meals, 401(k) with match, and more.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with staff, supervisors, physicians, residents and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (physical and TB).
• Vaccination/regular screening may be required per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Report changes in residents' condition to a supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
