Job summary

The Oakmont Management Group's IVY PARK AT SALINAS is seeking a Care Provider to deliver personal care and daily living assistance to residents, following service plans and maintaining dignity and safety.

Responsibilities include aiding with ADLs, responding promptly to needs, reporting changes to a supervisor, and helping maintain a safe environment while promoting teamwork across departments. Some roles require training and background checks.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Vaccination and PPE requirements may apply to ensure health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living as specified in the plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate observed or suspected changes of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
