Job summary

MBK Senior Living in California is seeking a Caregiver for afternoon to evening shifts (2pm–10pm), full-time. The role centers on high-quality personal care, daily living activities, and compassionate resident support within a team-focused community.

You will assist residents with ADLs, mobility, meals, and engagement while ensuring dignity, privacy, and safety per ISP and company policies. A strong emphasis on teamwork and professional growth is highlighted throughout MBK's supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to obtain required clearances.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Demonstrates teamwork and compassionate resident care.
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.
• Compliance with policies, safety, and privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to resident needs while protecting dignity and privacy.
• Review ISP and shift reporting at start of each shift.
• Complete assignments per ISP during the shift.
• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals, and continence.
• Perform safety checks and report changes in residents’ condition.
• Assist with transfers and safe mobility for meals and activities.
• Support residents’ social, emotional wellbeing and engagement.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks for residents and community.
• Manage oxygen equipment per physician guidance when trained.
• Respond to alerts and emergencies ensuring safety.
• Maintain a safe, compliant environment and follow regulations.
• Mentor and collaborate with team per MBK values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
