Job summary

MBK Senior Living in California is seeking a Caregiver for the Tuesday–Saturday evening shift (2 PM–10 PM). The role involves helping residents with daily living activities, mobility, and personal care with compassion and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Age 18 or older and able to meet job requirements.
• 1+ year caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining independence, dignity, safety, and privacy.
• Review shift reports and ISP/lifestyle surveys at the start of each shift.
• Complete all resident assignments as directed in the ISP during the shift.
• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, hygiene, mealtime, and mobility.
• Conduct regular safety checks and report changes in residents’ condition or behavior.
• Assist with mealtime logistics, serving, and delivering room trays as needed.
• Safely transport residents and assist with transfers using proper techniques.
• Respond to resident alerts and emergencies, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Lead activities and programs and participate in engagement assignments.
• Complete housekeeping and laundry tasks for residents and the community.
