Job summary

Oakmont Management Group, Ivy Terrace at Fullerton, seeks a Care Provider to deliver personal assistance and daily care to residents in a premier senior living community in Fullerton, CA.

The role supports residents’ ADLs, promotes independence, and requires teamwork with staff. Training provided; 18+, HS diploma, background check, TB test; competitive benefits.

Shifts are PM 2:00pm-10:30pm; pay range $17-18 per hour; opportunities across California communities.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Vaccination/testing requirements may apply per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity, safety and confidentiality.
• Communicate observed or suspected changes to a supervisor.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with staff and other departments.
