Oakmont Management Group in Fullerton, CA is seeking a dedicated Care Provider to assist seniors with daily living activities and provide compassionate care on-site. The role focuses on maintaining independence, safety, and quality of life for residents within a five-star community.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, responding to needs promptly, reporting changes to a supervisor, ensuring a secure environment, and promoting teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; on-the-job training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Able to interact effectively with staff, supervisors, physicians, residents and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (physical and TB).
• May require vaccination and PPE per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while upholding dignity, safety and confidentiality.
• Communicate observed changes in resident condition to a supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperation with coworkers and other departments.
