Job summary

Emerald Park in Florida seeks reliable CNAs or HHAs to assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health, and support memory care residents in a safe, nurturing environment.

The role emphasizes compassionate, dependable teamwork, with responsibilities spanning personal care, mobility, health monitoring, and memory care activities. Overtime, flexible scheduling, and ongoing training are offered within a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• Current Florida CNA or HHA certification (required).
• CPR & First Aid Certification (required).
• Level II background screening (or willingness to obtain).
• Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care training (preferred or must complete upon hire).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in assisted living or memory care (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Monitor and document residents’ health status and report changes to nursing staff.
• Offer emotional support and companionship.
• Engage memory care residents in meaningful activities and redirection techniques.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment.
• Comply with all safety protocols and facility policies.
• Assist with laundry (personal and linens), etc.
