Job summary

Community Name is hiring a Resident Care Associate (CNA) to join our assisted living and memory care teams. This role provides hands-on care and supports residents and their families under PSPs while ensuring a safe, home-like environment.

Shift details: 10:00 pm–6:00 am, Mon-Fri, every other weekend. Qualifications include high school education preferred and experience with elders; must be 18+ to perform personal care tasks. Weekend/evening availability is required.

Qualifications

• High School education preferred and may be required by state.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to perform personal care aspects.
• Experience with elders or disabled individuals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in development of Personalized Service Plans and updates; attends service plan review meetings with families as requested.
• Follows hydration schedule established for residents during shift.
• Completes resident meal attendance sheets and provides room service or accounting for residents not dining in dining room.
• Knows and complies with all resident rights.
• Initiates, assigns, and assists with activities as appropriate.
• Checks residents daily for cleanliness, clothing, continence issues and changes in condition.
• Uses proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions.
• Checks assigned resident rooms daily for cleanliness; ensures high risk rooms are double checked.
• Assists with laundry rooms, common areas including bathrooms; contacts housekeeping as needed.
• Completes all ADLs for residents per PSP.
• Responds to security system and resident call bells promptly; resets bells as needed.

Education

High School education preferred

Must be at least 18 years old

Experience with elders or disabled individuals, preferred
