Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a Care Associate for the Assisted Living program on the 2nd shift. You will assist residents with daily living activities, provide emotional support, and document daily notes. The role requires compassionate teamwork and adherence to safety protocols.

Experience in senior care and English proficiency are essential, with CNA or CHHA licensure potentially required depending on state. This is a full-time, on-site position in Michigan.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• Proficient English for duties, supervisor communication and emergencies.
• CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on state.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compassionate, professional, kind and engaging.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living including medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and escort services.
• Follow the schedule of residents’ needs as set by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage independence and dignity of residents.
