Job summary

Good Samaritan Algona is seeking a part-time caregiver to provide resident care, medication administration, daily living assistance, and related duties in a compassionate, Christian environment. Shifts are 1:30pm to 9:30pm, 8 hours, with a total of 20 hours per week.

You will assist with meals, personal care, mobility, laundry, and maintaining clean rooms, while following safety guidelines and location procedures. High school diploma preferred; state training may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Working state may require diploma depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Provides care and services such as medication administration, healthcare services, activities of daily living assistance, and other duties as assigned.
• Assists residents with self-administration of medications and with bathing and maintaining cleanliness.
• Helps residents with dressing, toileting, transferring, positioning, and mobility; records vital signs and reports health changes.
