Good Samaritan in Canistota, SD is seeking a Part-time Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse. You will support residents with daily activities and monitor health needs as part of an empathetic, faith-based team.

Shifts are 8 hours in the evening, with a 16-hour weekly schedule and a pay range of $19.50 to $28.00 per hour. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is available, and benefits vary by status.

Responsibilities

• The Medication Assistant (MA) serves as caregiver who provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a charge nurse.
• Provides assistance with basic health care needs including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and recording vital signs.
• May assist with transferring, re-positioning, and walking using correct and appropriate techniques.
