Job summary

Good Samaritan in East Grand Forks, MN is seeking a part-time nursing assistant for evening shifts (3pm-11:30pm), 24 hours per week. Responsibilities include medication administration, ADL assistance, vital signs, and maintaining resident health and safety in a Christian environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, and must complete medication administration training as required by state guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• If a lift is used, must meet minimum state age requirement.
• Must complete and maintain assigned medication administration training program and state competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provides care and services such as medication administration, healthcare services and activities of daily living assistance.
• Assists residents with self-administration of medications and with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Takes vital signs and reports changes in health status, following OSHA and CDC guidelines.
• Prepares and serves nutritious meals and maintains cleanliness of rooms and common areas.
