• Recent graduates of ACPE-accredited colleges/schools of pharmacy may fill this role while pending licensure, but must obtain licensure within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Receives prescriptions, interprets prescriptions, and reviews the patient's medication profile/history.
• Uses patient data to provide optimal drug therapy recommendations and performs protocol-driven clinical services.
• Compounds and oversees preparation and dispensing of medications including sterile products.
• Ensures formulary compliance and therapeutic substitutions to optimize therapy and control costs.
• Completes documentation in medical records and regulatory logs.
