District Cannabis LLC in Maryland is seeking a Cannabis Lab Assistant to support daily laboratory production activities, including distillation, formulation, dispensing, and equipment cleaning under the Lab Manager. The role emphasizes careful weighing, liquid handling, and pipetting, with on-site work five days a week.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and basic computer skills; lab experience and pipetting experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• General lab experience preferred.
• Pipetting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily product preparation including preparing equipment and cannabis oil for processing.
• Monitors active equipment, performs minor repairs, and reports issues to Lab Manager.
• Operates machinery in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Takes instruction and assists on tasks assigned by Lab Manager.
• Assists with infused concentrate formulation and dispensing.
• Assists with infused edible base formulation.
• Accurately performs weighing, liquid handling, and pipetting.
• Cleans and maintains laboratory glassware and equipment.
• General manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
• Assists in waste disposal according to guidelines.
