Job summary

Lakes Region Community College seeks a Campus Safety & Security Officer III for the Lakes Region campus in Laconia. This 25-hour-per-week, second-shift role patrols, inspects, and secures campus buildings and grounds, enforces regulations, and assists with emergencies.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, transporting students as needed, documenting events, and collaborating with Maintenance and Campus Life for safety education. Must be at least 21 and hold CPR/AED certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of security/law enforcement experience recommended.
• CPR/AED and first aid certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus buildings and grounds to ensure safety and security.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and safety hazards; document and report.
• Provide student transportation via campus shuttle as needed.
• Enforce campus rules and state laws on LRCC property.
• Assist with safety training and onboarding of new officers.
