Job summary

NHTI Concords Community College seeks a Campus Safety & Security Officer III for 1st shift to protect the college community by patrolling, responding to incidents, and enforcing policies. The role collaborates with local law enforcement and maintains comprehensive safety records.

The position requires a high school diploma, 3 years of law enforcement experience, and a valid driver’s license with CPR/AED and first aid certification. Age 21+ and flexibility are mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of law enforcement work as a security officer/guard, police officer, or similar role. Additional education can substitute for experience.
• Valid driver’s license required; CPR/AED and basic first aid certification.
• Must be age 21 and willing to work flexible hours; Essential Personnel designation.
• Current NIMS certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus buildings and grounds, enforce policies, respond to alarms and incidents.
• Prepare written reports such as daily logs and incident reports.
• Coordinate with local police and fire departments on safety matters.
• Lock/unlock buildings and distribute IDs as needed.
• Assist in snow removal coordination and manage parking enforcement.
