Job summary

NHTI Concords Community College is seeking a Campus Safety & Security Officer III on the 2nd shift to perform professional campus safety duties, patrol and secure campus facilities, assist the community, and coordinate with local responders.

You will respond to alarms and incidents, enforce college policies, investigate activity on college property, issue parking enforcement, prepare detailed incident reports, and maintain access control and records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent credential.
• Three years' experience in law enforcement work as a security guard/officer, police officer, corrections officer, or military police officer. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of experience.
• Valid drivers' license required. Current CPR/AED and basic first aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus and surrounding areas to ensure safety and security.
• Respond to alarms and incidents, and coordinate with local law enforcement as needed.
• Enforce college policies and state/federal laws on campus.
• Prepare thorough written reports and maintain logs and records.
• Distribute ID cards and assist students, staff, and visitors as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Safety & Security.
