Indian Prairie School District 204 is seeking a part-time School Safety and Security Site Lead to monitor campus security during after-school hours and events. The role includes camera surveillance, access control, and coordinating with responders when incidents occur.

The position requires de-escalation skills, strong communication, and the ability to work with staff, students, and visitors while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Must possess or be able to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED.
• Must complete district-approved ALICE training.

Responsibilities

• Monitor campus security cameras, access control, and perform regular rounds to ensure security.
• Lead emergency response and de-escalation; follow crisis plans and coordinate with responders.
• Serve as liaison between responders and school administration after hours.
