Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent; high school diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years in security, law enforcement, military, or school operations preferred.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Must possess or be able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Must complete ALICE training as district requirement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor campus security cameras and control access during after-school hours and events.
• Lead emergency response coordination per district crisis plans and de-escalate conflicts.
• Serve as liaison between first responders and school administration after hours.
• Manage visitor access and verify authorization for rentals and events.
• Report safety vulnerabilities and maintain confidentiality in safety matters.
• Maintain radio contact with staff and track after-school program schedules.
• Provide verbal updates and quarterly written reports on incidents and concerns.
