The University of Iowa Parking & Transportation department is seeking a Parking Maintenance Worker I. Qualifications

• One year of related experience with comparable equipment, electrical and mechanical.
• Possession of a current, valid driver's license.
• Valid driver’s license required per University policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, maintenance, and minor repair of parking equipment and facilities.
• Construct and install traffic, parking, and related signs.
• Maintain safety, readiness and cleanliness of parking ramps, surface lots, and pedestrian areas with equipment such as sweepers and snow removal gear.
• Respond to jams and malfunctions of parking revenue/control equipment and software.
• Clean, paint, and perform minor surface repair of parking lots.
