Job summary

University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking a Parking Enforcement Officer to support safe, well-regulated campus parking operations. The role monitors lots and structures, processes stall counts, and assists with adjustments for construction-related changes while guiding students, staff, and visitors about parking options.

Hours are onsite 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Wednesday through Sunday, with occasional nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ability to provide excellent customer service to diverse audiences.
• Driver’s license required – valid and meets UW risk standards.

Responsibilities

• Clears snow and ice around access points of parking facilities.
• Enters parking usage data for multiple stall types in campus facilities.
• Maintains mechanical functions of parking meters and gate equipment.
• Provides directions and education about parking with customers.
• Vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Investigates parking eligibility and policy compliance.
• Enforces parking violations across property.
• Records vehicle descriptions, locations, and parking citations accurately.
