Job summary

Tarleton State University is seeking part-time Guest Service Event Workers to support the Event Center. You will usher at campus events, assist with ticket sales, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests, students, and community members.

Evening and weekend availability is required. The role is temporary/casual, limited to 19 hours per week, with compensation around $18.03 per hour and opportunities to contribute to event operations.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Must be available to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide ushering for campus events (concerts, athletics, etc.).
• Assist with ticket sales support as needed.
• Scan tickets at events and monitor building security.
• Perform building operations tasks including locking/unlocking doors and offices.
• Provide front line customer service by answering phones, giving directions, and assisting patrons.
