Job summary

West Virginia University is seeking a Campus Service Worker for the Health Science Center Facilities to perform general custodial duties in assigned areas. Under supervision, you will sweep, mop, disinfect, and maintain restrooms and common areas in accordance with safety guidelines.

This role emphasizes reliability, time management, and the ability to operate custodial equipment; overtime is required. WVU offers benefits, leave, holidays, and a 37.5-hour work week, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of custodial cleaning experience.
• Ability to operate custodial equipment safely.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, disinfect and polish floors and fixtures.
• Clean bathrooms, replenish supplies, and manage waste and disposal.
• Move furniture and set up spaces as needed; overtime may be required.
• Enter leave data accurately and maintain records per university policies.
