Job summary

Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell, PA seeks a custodial staff member for the 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:30pm). The hourly rate is $15.75, including a 5% shift differential. This position requires a pre-employment drug screening.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: sanitize/restock restrooms; mop floors; dust and vacuum; wash windows; empty trash; clean desks and boards; set up rooms for events; assist with snow removal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or 1–2 years experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Must be physically capable of performing all duties.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow routine instructions.
• Ability to work within a team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

• Sanitizing & restocking restrooms.
• Wet and dry mopping; general floor care; strip, scrub, and wax floors.
• Dusting and vacuuming.
• Washing windows.
• Emptying trash containers.
• Wiping down counter tops and desk tops.
• Cleaning white boards and chalk boards.
• Setup/breakdown of rooms for events on campus.
• Assist with snow removal/de-icing.
