Job summary

Waubonsee Community College is seeking a Part-time Custodian (PM) for the Aurora Downtown Campus. The role reports to the Shift Lead Custodian and requires cleaning, minor maintenance, and facility setup.

The schedule includes Tue-Thu 5:30-10:30pm, Fri 2-7pm, and Sat 9-2, totaling about 25 hrs/week. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; one year of custodial experience is preferred, with the ability to lift up to 35 pounds and work independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of custodial employment preferred.
• Physical ability to lift 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain cleanliness of campus facilities to present a premier image.
• Inspect buildings, restock restrooms, and handle minor emergencies for safety.
• Clean interior glass surfaces at least twice a month as required.
• Assist with furniture moving or setup as directed.
• Monitor custodial supplies and maintain orderly inventory.
