Job summary

The Home for Little Wanderers in Walpole, MA is seeking a full-time Evening Campus Coordinator to supervise Residential Counselors and related staff, coordinate shifts, and ensure safe, structured program operations across campus homes. The role focuses on implementing routines, supervising activities, and maintaining documentation to support youth wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to two years of college and/or two plus years childcare experience in a residential setting
• Supervisory experience helpful
• Computer literate including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer with the ability to learn new software applications

Responsibilities

• Supervise Residential Counselors, Supervisors and the Activity Coordinator
• Coordinate work assignments and staffing coverage with Program Directors and Milieu Directors
• Plan and schedule therapeutic groups and social activities
• Support shift activities across residences including medical appointments, transportation, homework and behavior support
• Provide and supervise behavior support and interventions per program principles
• Complete shift paperwork like logs, incident reports and behavior monitoring
• Ensure timely submission of records and maintain awareness of prior shift issues
• Collaborate with Residential Supervisors on client belongings and routines
• Plan weekly circles to support youth growth and development
• Provide coverage of shifts as needed
• Assist in managing medical and emergency situations
