Job summary

Southwire Company is seeking a Cabler 1 Operator to safely and efficiently operate cabling equipment, load reels, splice, read production orders, and set up tooling. The role includes reading layouts, adjusting lay length, and ensuring binder tightness.

You will cross-train on related equipment and contribute to quality checks. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, English fluency, and the ability to stand and lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must read, write, and speak English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Must be able to stand and lift heavy loads for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision and maintain communication with supervisor and peers.
• Complete production orders to customer specifications to deliver quality products on time.
• Perform machine inspections and manage scrap disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
