Open Gates Group in Kalona, IA is hiring a 2nd shift Bulk Milk Receiving Operator to unload raw milk trucks, separate the milk, and transfer it into tanks and trucks using manual hose hookups.

The role requires working Monday through Friday, 2pm-10pm, with rotational weekends and holidays. The job emphasizes safety, GMP compliance, and accurate data recording in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to read, record, and communicate data in English.
• Flexible schedule, including overtime and varying shifts as needed.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL-A with tanker endorsement preferred.
• Capable of extended physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with all PPE and GMP requirements.

Responsabilités

• Unload raw milk trucks and transfer it to holding tanks.
• Operate milk processing equipment and separation technology.
• Perform documented quality tests on raw milk before unloading.
• Track milk loads and record results.
• Assist with internal product transfers as required.
• Maintain quality standards in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Stay current with required processing technology and equipment operation.
• Uphold and promote all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, are required.
