Prairie Farms in Luana, IA is seeking a Milk Receiver to unload raw milk, ship liquids, and collect samples, ensuring sanitary handling under supervision. This full-time manual labor position requires the ability to work independently, lift heavy objects, and follow GMP and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include operating receiving equipment, conducting quality tests, documenting intake, maintaining sanitary areas, and reporting equipment repairs.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods.
• Must be able to verbally communicate, understand, and write in English.
• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.

Responsabilités

• Unload raw milk products and handle samples.
• Operate receiving and shipment equipment; pumps, lines, valves, tanks.
• Follow GMPs, safety and sanitation protocols; document intake.
• Perform quality tests and record temperatures and observations.
• Report equipment repairs and perform other duties as assigned.
