Job summary

Chinatown Community Development Center is seeking a Desk Clerk to maintain safety and security for tenants. You will interact with staff, tenants, vendors, law enforcement, and visitors while enforcing Policy and House Rules.

The role is full-time, onsite, in the Mission neighborhood of San Francisco with a 4:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m. shift. The position offers comprehensive benefits and requires excellent interpersonal and crisis-management skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and needs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional conduct.
• Willingness to follow policies and procedures and to report issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Sign-in all visitors who enter and leave building.
• Monitor all exits via surveillance footage and foot patrol.
• Update the daily log with detailed information for continuity.
• Report House Rules violations to the Property Manager.
• Respond to building emergencies per protocol and notify On Site Manager.
