Job summary

Robinwood Retirement Community seeks a Utility Buffet Server to create welcoming dining experiences for residents and guests. You’ll greet diners, take orders, and tailor portions while maintaining a clean, safe dining area during 5:00pm–7:00pm shifts.

You’ll work with an Executive/Sous Chef team to ensure smooth service, handle pizza ovens and sharp tools safely, and uphold sanitation standards. No prior food service experience is required, but reliability and good customer service matter.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to work Monday–Friday 5:00pm–7:00pm
• Must communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and staff
• Able to obtain food handler permits as required by local rules within 2 weeks of hire
• No prior work experience required
• State rules may require a work permit based on age/value of residence

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly, present menus clearly, take accurate orders
• Tailor portion sizes to individual preferences while preserving quality
• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of dishware to prevent breakage
• Keep the exhibition line attended and visually appealing during meal hours
• Respond professionally to feedback and escalate issues when needed
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including pizza ovens and sharp tools
• Support the Executive/Sous Chef with additional tasks and sanitation standards
