Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities is seeking a Utility Buffet Server to create memorable dining experiences for our residents. You will work with a collaborative team, greet guests warmly, present menu options clearly, and tailor portions to individual preferences.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, keeping the buffet area visually appealing, and responding professionally to feedback. This is a part-time evening role requiring safe operation of kitchen equipment and strict sanitation

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday 5:00pm-7:00pm.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Ability to secure required food handler permits within two weeks of hire.
• No previous work experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming dining experience by greeting residents and guests, presenting menu options clearly, taking accurate orders, and tailoring portions.
• Protect quality and safety by maintaining cleanliness and handling dishware to prevent breakage.
• Ensure seamless service by keeping the exhibition line attended and visually appealing during meals.
• Engage professionally when responding to feedback, addressing concerns, and escalating issues to leadership when needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including pizza ovens and sharp tools, following safety standards (must be 18+).
• Contribute to team success by completing support work and tasks from the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
• Maintain strict sanitation standards in all food preparation and production areas.
