Candidates should have a high school diploma and may have prior lab, blood bank manufacturing or logistics experience. Training and shift flexibility are required to cover a 8-hour window with possible weekend work.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior laboratory, bloodbank manufacturing or logistics experience preferred.
• Ability to perform essential duties listed in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures, stores and distributes blood and blood products.
• Performs data entry for component production, labeling, storage and shipping with accurate records.
• Operates, maintains and performs quality control checks on equipment.
• Ensures proper labeling and release of products for distribution.
• Performs quarantine and disposition of unacceptable products/samples.
• Maintains adequate inventory of required supplies.
• Prepares and submits quality control samples for testing.
