A youth and family support organization is seeking a Behavioral Technician in Belvidere, NJ, to provide emotional support to children with developmental disabilities. You will implement strategies, conduct assessments, and attend team meetings. Ideal candidates will be patient, have strong communication skills, and be authorized to work in the U.S. A $300 sign-on bonus is offered. Flexible hours of 5–20 per week, primarily evenings.
Qualifications
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification required within 6 months of hire.
Registered Behavioral Technician Certification required within 6 months of hire.
Valid New Jersey Driver’s License.
Must pass state and federal background checks.
Responsibilities
Provide emotional and behavioral support to children and families.
Implement strategies from each child’s Individual Support Plan.
Conduct functional assessments like Activities of Daily Living.
Use redirection to manage behavioral concerns.
Submit visit notes post-session.
Attend case reviews and required trainings.
